Car shopping done!

Went car shopping. Started out looking at a Subaru CrossTrek, only to find that it was virtually impossible for me to get into without considerable contortion. Very little headroom when I did get into it. So, took a look at a 2017 Subaru Outback and a 2017 Forester. The Outback just felt better than the Forester, and the price difference between them wasn't significant enough to go with the Forester. I'm into my second week with the Outback, and it's getting a little better mileage than they claim on the sales sheet. Nice, quiet ride, and my wife has said we're taking it to Reno for the family get together, rather than taking her Nissan Versa. The Versa is a cute little car, but, being in it for 3 hours at a stretch can be a bit wearing. Huge cargo space in the Outback, so our biggest suitcases will fit back there without playing luggage Tetris.
